Friedman is really one these arrogant SOB's that thinks he is smarter than everyone else. He is not smart at all. His books about the world economy are silly, inaccurate and reach mostly the wrong conclusions. I have been working in international business since the mid 1980's and it mind numbing how ingnorant folks like Friedman can get such dreck published and read as if he knew what he was talking about.
